Our occupational therapy services are tailored for individuals aged 0-21, focusing on identifying strengths, challenges, and personalized goals. Through these services, we address various skills essential for daily living and development, including:

Animal Assisted Therapy
Experience the heartwarming benefits of animal-assisted therapy with our friendly therapy dog, Koda! During sessions, clients have the opportunity to engage in therapeutic activities alongside Koda, fostering emotional connections and enhancing overall well-being. With Koda's gentle presence and unconditional support, clients often experience increased motivation, improved social interactions, and a sense of comfort throughout their therapy sessions.
In addition to therapeutic benefits, our animal-assisted therapy sessions offer a unique opportunity for children and teenagers to learn about pet care and the responsibilities of caring for a live animal. Through supervised interactions with Koda, clients can develop important life skills such as empathy, compassion, and cooperation. Learning to care for a pet not only fosters a sense of responsibility but also provides valuable opportunities for emotional growth and connection

Alexa received her Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from Belmont University in Nashville, TN in 2023. Prior to that, she spent the past 5 years working as a pediatric OTA in early intervention, school, and outpatient settings. During graduate school, Alexa played a pivotal role in establishing a nonprofit organization that
Alexa received her Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from Belmont University in Nashville, TN in 2023. Prior to that, she spent the past 5 years working as a pediatric OTA in early intervention, school, and outpatient settings. During graduate school, Alexa played a pivotal role in establishing a nonprofit organization that bridges the gap between accessibility and mobility within the home and community, while also educating the public on the importance of adaptive recreational equipment for individuals with disabilities. Alexa is deeply passionate about supporting individuals with special needs, incorporating animal-assisted therapy, and using assistive technology. Alexa also has experience working with individuals who use Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). She is certified as a pet therapy team alongside her therapy dog, Koda. Alexa and her family moved from Arkansas to Colorado in 2024.

Koda is a 6-year-old Minature Austrailian Labradoodle and a certified good boy. Koda is an active member of the Alliance of Therapy Dogs and a certified Canine Good Citizen. Koda has volunteered for the past 4
years in a variety of pediatric and adult settings, bringing comfort and joy to all he
meets. Koda regularly visits the veterinarian
